Maintenance programKeeping your masonry project like new is important. Just like your yard grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs are in need of attention to maintain them, same with your masonry brick, cultural stone, real stone and especially stucco. On benches, flowers pot edges and stone patios, even on sand set pavers moss can grow around trees and moist and shadow areas making it dangerously slippery to walk on it. With Washington’s annual average precipitation from 40-60 inches of rain comparing to other states average at 10-20 inches makes Washington masonry constructions more vulnerable. Land movement under concrete pads and patios build without mesh or rebar crack and settle resulting in cracking the mortar joints, braking stone, brick and stone. water weeps through, grass starts to grow through cracks on patios, vertical cracks in masonry make a dangerous potential falling on someone or creating damage to your house also allows water to weep in and create long term invisible structural damage inside. Stucco is the most vulnerable to movement and water. If water finds a way behind the stucco cement structure due to old metal expansion joints or old improper flushing at top or around protruding objects like pipes and windows due to old improper chalking. The water will impact huge on inside wooden structure before it comes a leaking visible problem, at that point water manages to rust nails/staples, rust expansion joints, rot wood structure even create mold behind, hairline cracks appear on outside panel allowing more water to seep through making more damage. If not addressed soon the panel will start to bow or lean out making it dangerous below, even fall off if not repaired immediately costing you lots of money in repairs. This is why we want to offer you this program so you can avoid repair costs out of your pocket by maintaining your project not only to keep it looking new but also stress free and safe. Based on masonry prices of today and the average costs of repairs for every year that passes repairs get more and more expensive and get damaged more and more often, we have worked the price to be affordable for everyone. Our program can help you worry free of your masonry projects to stay nice and clean for years, keep or restore the original color and avoid major future repairs. All of our members that have the maintenance program ether at the point of building or have got into the maintenance program later, a discount will be given if repaired by us on any major repairs needed if a issue has come up and the amount of repair if greater then the annual maintenance cost. A: We will inspect your project every six months to check for cracks, residue or grass growing on it and sealer fading at end of its warranty. Wash and reseal if necessary. • How often will my project be sealed? A: Depending on the sealer of your choice, acrylic based sealers can last 2-3 years depending on thickness where water based sealers last only 1.5 to 2 years.
